Dear Residents of Hessle.

On Sunday the 7th of December Officers from the Kirkella Neighbourhood Police team will be 

in Hessle Square for a Bike Marking Event. This a great opportunity to have your bike marked 

and added to the online bike register. The benefits of having your bike registered include a greater chance of 

the bike being found, proof of ownership when recovered, the visible marking acts a deterrent against theft. 

The police database is accessible by all U.K. forces and can in the event of the bike being found it can then be traced back to the owner.
